Challenge

The Glenmorangie Company, one of the world’slargest Scotch malt whisky brands, wanted to breathe new life into its existingemployee magazine, Spirited. It needed a sharp strategy that wouldeffectively communicate the prestige of LVMH (The Glenmorangie Company’s parentbrand) and reflect its new ‘one company’ approach to all areas of the business.

Our response

We gave Spirited a complete redesign, incorporating aluxurious colour palette and engaging tone of voice to complement the company’spremium position, rich heritage and exclusive product range. Our editorialcombines brand, marketing and people success stories. It also clearlydemonstrates Glenmorangie’s absolute obsession with quality and the mastery ofwhisky creation.

Result

The magazine has been universally acclaimed by its diversereadership and continues to evolve to reflect the innovative approach of TheGlenmorangie Company itself. Spirited received an Award of Excellence for BestEmployee Magazine at the Communicators in Business Scotland Awards 2009 and aHighly Commended at the Institute of Internal Communication Awards 2010.
